JPS Group is joining Good Energy Solar
We have aquired leading South-East based solar and battery storage installer, JPS Group. This means that Good Energy can now offer premium solar installation services across the South of England.
Since Good Energy created the first tariff for home owners with solar to get paid for the power they share way back in 2004, to today when we are the UK’s largest voluntary administrator of the Feed-in-Tariff with over 180,000 customers, solar has always been core to our business and our purpose.
Our acquisition of Wessex ECOEnergy last year was our first step into solar installation services, and now we are making an exciting next step with the acquisition of JPS Group.

JPS Group is a leading solar and storage installation business based in Maidstone in Kent. The business installs solar panels and battery storage across the South-East and London. They are also establishing a team in Devon and Cornwall.

How does this acquisition help us to achieve our ambition?

And demand for solar has been particularly pronounced in the south, which is why Good Energy is focusing on offering premium solar installation services across the region — with Wessex ECOenergy in the South-West and now JPS Group in the South-East.
