Energy prices in the UK continue to rise, and for households and businesses, there is little sense that relief is on the way. It’s not a short term issue, it’s a persistent structural problem that’s increasing the cost of living, pushing more households into fuel poverty and driving inflation too.

In our new report, we put forwards two main recommendations to government: immediate relief to support households and businesses this winter; and longer-term reforms to sever the ties between electricity and gas prices for good.

Download the report to read our recommendations in depth, and understand the benefits they will bring for homes, businesses and the wider economy.
