Nev Stokes, a web-developer from Edinburgh, signed up for Good Energy’s dual fuel tariff in the summer of 2013 when he moved into a new flat. The supplier he inherited was npower and, having been an annoyed customer of theirs in the past, he wanted to change that as soon as possible.
Nev explained, “I was fed up with double-digit percentage price hikes and subsequent similar rises in profits a short time later. Then there was the service: hours wasted on hold, repeated stories and slow resolution times. I was certainly not going to give my business to any of the so-called "Big Six" again.”
“It was the 100% renewable offering that initially attracted me to Good Energy. A nicely designed website with an interesting blog, customer offers, good engagement and responsive interactions on social media all made me think that Good Energy would be a company with whom I'd like to have a relationship.
