Step 3: We install in a day
Our expert team install most systems in a single day*, fully integrating with any existing smart energy products like EV chargers.
Step 4: Start saving from day one
Your panels are generating, your energy bills are lower, and your monthly payments are fixed. Unless you move out before your payment term ends, the ongoing savings are all yours for years to come.

Solar finance is paid through a simple monthly payment to our trusted finance partner, Zopa Bank, at 9.9%APR representative. Simply choose the payment term that works best for you and your budget.
Yes. You are the registered owner of your solar panels from day one. It’s a bit like getting a sofa on finance – you own the product and get the full benefits from day one, but you’re making monthly payments instead of paying the full cost upfront.
You can choose between four payment terms: 5, 7, 8 and 10 years – paid monthly. Choose a shorter term if you want to own the system outright sooner and unlock bigger long-term savings. Choose a longer term if you want to keep your monthly repayments lower.
Yes. As the owner of your solar panels, any export payments go directly to you. We can help you sign up for our Solar Savings** export tariff, which pays up to 25p per kWh for 12 months if your system includes a battery.
All our solar installations come with leading warranties both for product and workmanship, protecting you and your panels. You are able to add on our maintenance and cleaning packages, or we can help you with a call out fee.
Your options to switch term lengths depend on where you are in the process:
- Before your agreement goes live, it may be possible to propose a different term, however this would would be subject to a new approval process and isn’t guaranteed.
- Once your finance agreement is live, the term is fixed and can’t be changed. If your circumstances change down the line and you’re worried about affordability, you’ll need to contact Zopa directly to discuss your options.
Unless you move out before your payment term ends, you can enjoy lower bills and greater energy independence for years to come.
Solar financing is registered to you, not to your home. If you’re planning to sell your home before your finance period ends, you’ll need to speak directly with Zopa Bank to discuss your options for settling the balance or continuing with the loan payments.
At the moment we do ask for an upfront deposit to install your solar panel system. The rest of your payment is then spread across your chosen payment term.
Yes. All our systems come with leading product and workmanship warranties. Opt for Solar Care if you want annual servicing, cleaning and the peace of mind of no unexpected costs.
At the moment, solar financing is only available to full solar arrays, or solar and battery systems. We cannot finance battery-only installs.
*Based on our average solar-only installation, with most systems installed in a single day. Timings may vary depending on your home and system design.
**Solar Savings is a variable tariff, so the rates are subject to change. Solar Savings Exclusive is a 12-month export tariff available when you install solar panels and a battery with Good Energy. While the rate is subject to change to new customers, once your term begins the price is fixed for 12 months. After this time you will roll onto our standard export tariff.
