Setting up a Direct Debit is the quickest and easiest way to pay your bill. Over a year uses 94% less carbon than paying by cheque.

We’ll agree the amount with you and then your payment will be automatically debited from your bank account every month.

If you are on our Standard Variable Tariff and you pay by Direct Debit, you are eligible for our Direct Debit Discount. The average dual fuel customer will be able to save £129 a year*. This is based on a percentage of your unit rate and standing charge and depends on how much energy you use, so some customers will see smaller or larger savings.

In the background we’ll keep an eye on your energy use. We’ll use your meter readings to check you’re paying the right amount. We’ll let you know if we need to change your Direct Debit and give you time to adjust it.
