By Direct Debit - the simple green way to pay

Paying your bill by Direct Debit keeps your account up to date and over a year uses 94% less carbon than paying by cheque.    

It’s also the easiest way to pay. We agree the amount with you and then your payment will be automatically debited from your bank account every month.   

In the background we’ll keep an eye on your energy use. We’ll use your meter readings to check you’re paying the right amount. We’ll let you know if we need to change your Direct Debit and give you time to adjust it.

Call the team on 0345 034 2400 to pay by debit or credit card. Credit card payments may be subject to a charge.  

Prepayment meters

If you have a traditional prepayment meter, you can either top up using your key or card at a registered outlet. If you have a smart prepayment meter, you can top up via your smart prepayment online account, auto-top-ups, by text or by calling our Clean Energy Specialists on 0800 254 0000.
