We’re pleased to sponsor this year’s Festival of Sustainable Homes, which takes place at the National Self Build and Renovation Centre in Swindon. Read on to find out more about the event including how to book your free tickets.

What is the Festival of Sustainable Homes?

The Festival of Sustainable Homes will take place on Friday 17th and Saturday 18th May. You’ll find it at the National Self Build and Renovation Centre (NSBRC), which is just off Junction 16 of the M4 in Swindon. Doors open at 9am and close at 5pm.

It’s a free-to-attend family friendly show which will feature more than 200 exhibitors offering advice about how to make your home more sustainable – whether you’re planning a build or are wanting to upgrade your current property.

The event will be perfect for anyone wanting to learn how to live a greener life.

Laura Wildish, Head of Marketing at Good Energy.

What will I see there?

The Festival of Sustainable Homes is a great opportunity to see the latest clean tech and building methods in real life, helping you to understand how you might integrate them into your home. There will be life size exhibits and experts from over 200 companies and organisations on hand to help.

There will be guided tours, inspiring talks and individual advice – so make sure you bring along your plans and questions to really benefit from the event.

You can also explore the Nature Zone, which will shine a light on charities and non-profit organisations who aim to improve our natural environment through campaigns, free advice and educational outreach.

And there’s a café offering sustainable, delicious food and drinks throughout the day.

Will I learn more about Good Energy at the event?

Yes! We are sponsoring the Renovation House this year, so you will be able to see our heat pumps, solar panels, batteries and EV chargers up close and learn about how to integrate them into your home.

You can chat with our team at our stand in the Nature Zone, and our Director of Sales will be leading a free talk at 12.00 both days in the Sustainability Theatre.

How can I get tickets?

The Festival of Sustainable Homes is free to attend if you book your space in advance – or it’s £12 per adult on the door.
