Good Energy is a different kind of energy company, committed to providing energy in a way that works to combat climate change. We have a track record of successfully challenging the energy industry to be greener and putting power back into the hands of families, communities and businesses across the country.

Our sustainability

Good Energy exists to tackle the climate crisis. All the products and services we provide, from 100% renewable electricity to heat pump and solar panel installation, are aimed to enabling homes and businesses to cut their carbon.

Operating our business results in impacts on the environment, which we aim to keep to a minimum. To explore how we track and report on our environmental impact, and the commitments we’ve made to reducing this, view our sustainability page.

Our people

When it comes to looking after our people, we have been a real Living Wage employer since 2015. We are also proud to have achieved an ‘outstanding’ rating by Best Companies, based on the feedback of our employees.

Reporting on our progress

You can find out more about where and how we source our energy, how we look after our people and how we treat our customers at: goodenergy.co.uk and in our 2022 Annual Report.

As a purpose-led business, we aspire to be as transparent as possible about our activities. Our 2022 Annual Report describes what we’ve been doing over the last year, including our response to Covid-19, our evolved business model and an update on our campaign against greenwashing; all reflected in our progress towards achieving our purpose.
