Increase the amount you get paid for the solar power you generate. With FIT REGO Boost from Good Energy, register for certificates that prove you generate renewable energy – and get paid for them.

You could receive annual income worth up to 9%* of your Feed-in Tariff payments.

What are REGOs?

REGOs (Renewable Energy Guarantee of Origin) are certificates that prove units of energy have been generated from renewable sources. REGOs are bought by energy suppliers to show that the electricity they supply is renewable.

Recently, the price of REGOs has risen to a level meaning that sites that only generate a small amount of power can receive a worthwhile payment.

The REGO market isn’t perfect, and Good Energy has argued for changes for years. However, it is currently the only way small-scale renewable generators can be recognised and rewarded for their increasing contribution to making Britain’s energy grid greener.

Why get REGO accredited with Good Energy?

Earn more, without exporting more

You already get FIT payments for the solar power you generate and export. Becoming REGO accredited means you could increase your annual earnings by up to 9%*. All without changing a thing about how you use or export your solar power.

We do all the work for you

Sign up in the invite email with just one click by consenting for Good Energy to manage your certificates on your behalf.

All you need to do is submit your FIT generation and export payments as usual. You can expect to receive your REGO payment directly into your bank account in July each year.

Make sure you also take a look at the full Good Energy FIT REGO Boost terms and conditions.

All the rewards of generating renewable energy, in one place

*9% earnings boost is based on the average solar PV system generating 2.46MWh each year, and the average FIT generation tariff of 4.58p/kWh. Based on a competitive REGO price of £4 per MWh as of today – subject to change in line with market trends.

**Solar Savings is a variable export tariff, the rate paid can change. If you are on the Feed-in Tariff, Solar Savings will replace your export payments, but you will still receive your quarterly generation payments.
