Meet our renewable generator, Albourne Estate
We’ve recently passed a huge milestone at Good Energy. We now buy our power from over 2000 renewable generators in Wales, England and Scotland.
One of them in Albourne Estate, a family-owned vineyard and winery close to Brighton.
Ever since they released their first vintage, Albourne Estate has powered its winery with our 100% renewable electricity. And in 2013, they installed a 159 panel solar array, generating 38000KWh every year.
They use around a third of their home-grown electricity on site and sell the rest to us, which we match with the power used by our home and business customers.
Buying and selling clean energy
At Good Energy, we want to make it as simple as possible for our customers. We offer business customers renewable energy supply, we support them to install renewable generation, and we buy the power they generate on site too.
For Albourne Estate, this level of support was what attracted them to Good Energy.
