At Good Energy, we have always believed that renewable energy should be real, traceable, and driving additionality. As the UK accelerates its transition towards net zero, the standard for what counts as genuinely green power is rightly rising.

We’re delighted to announce our new 24-month Corporate Power Purchase Agreement (CPPA) with Feldberg Capital, a specialist real estate investor and developer managing approximately €1.8 billion in assets. Facilitated by managing agent MAPP, this agreement links seven of Feldberg Capital’s commercial assets across two funds to Toggam Solar Farm in Lakenheath, Suffolk.

Together, we are delivering 6 GWh of fully traceable, zero-carbon electricity that cuts Scope 2 emissions while delivering real financial value back into the local community.

Agreement structure: 24 month Corporate PPA

Volume: 6 GWh of 100% traceable, zero-carbon electricity supplied across a 24-month agreement.

Sites: 7 Commercial Assets directly powered by clean, British solar energy.

Gold Standard Credentials: Built in strict alignment with UK Green Building Council (UKGBC) Renewable Procurement Principles, B Corp Certified energy supplier

The challenge: Increasing regulatory demands and ESG expectations

Real estate managers like Feldberg Capital face increasing regulatory demands and ESG disclosure expectations. Yet, too much of the commercial energy market relies on unbundled Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin (REGOs), paper certificates bought separately from actual power that do little to support new green generation or provide clear supply chain visibility.

Feldberg Capital and MAPP needed an energy partner that could offer:

Auditable Scope 2 reductions: Verifiable, audit-ready hourly-matched power that aligns with the UK Green Building Council Renewable Procurement Principles.

Additionality: A direct contract to a UK generator rather than a standard, offset green tariff.

Social value: An energy procurement strategy that creates measurable environmental and local community impact.

The solution: A Corporate PPA providing auditable ESG data and proving real additionality

To meet these standards, Feldberg Capital and MAPP chose Good Energy following a thorough supplier selection process.

Good Energy stood out to them for several reasons. Rather than relying solely on REGO certificates, we have direct PPAs with over 3,000 independent UK renewable generators. This approach guarantees that the power our customers buy actively supports local generation and drives Britain’s green transition.

What’s more, Good Energy is ranked number one on the Matched Clean Power Index for real time renewable energy matching.

We went one step further for Feldberg Capital, by signing a landmark 24 month Corporate PPA that matches the energy used by their seven commercial properties to Toggam Solar Farm in Suffolk: a 12.4MW site owned and operated by West Suffolk Council.

The benefit of this Corporate PPA structure is that Feldberg Capital can trace their energy usage back to the Suffolk solar farm, offering complete transparency for their ESG reporting and net zero targets. It also means a predictable cost structure over the next 24 months – vital when energy prices have been increasingly volatile.

What’s more, it gives Feldberg Capital a way to support local public services and prove environmental benefit. Toggam Solar Farm provides a long-term, stable income stream for West Suffolk Council. Over £5.2 million has been reinvested into frontline local services, strengthening council finances without increasing pressure on local taxpayers. Beyond generating clean power, the site supports environmental land management, local biodiversity enhancement, and community education initiatives for local schools and youth groups.
