What happens after you've signed up to Good Energy?

Switching energy provider is simple, and we do most of the work for you! Here's a step-by-step guide about what we'll be doing, what documents you'll be receiving, and what we need you to do once your energy supply has switched to us.


Step 1)

We'll post your welcome pack 3 - 5 days after you've signed up. This packs includes your contract and terms and conditions.

You have a 14 day cooling off period following sign-up in case you change your mind about your switch. Just let us know.

Step 2)

Shortly after you have received your welcome pack, you will receive confirmation of the date we are due to take over your supply, along with a request for a meter reading on or as close to this date as possible.

Step 3)

Send us an opening meter reading on the day (or up to five days before) your supply is transferred to us. You can submit your reads via our meter reads form.

It's really important that we get this to ensure that you only pay for what you use. We are able to bill you more accurately if you send us regular reads.

Step 4)

That's it!

You can now start to enjoy your cleaner, greener energy.
