Good Energy's solar power developments

Good Energy solar power development

Solar PV is an important part of the UK’s energy mix.

Driven by investment in new and improved technologies, the performance and efficiency of commercial solar PV panels continues to improve. At the end of September 2015, Solar PV accounted for 29% of installed renewable electricity capacity in the UK.

Large-scale, ground-mounted solar farms are a particularly cost-effective way of converting the natural power of sunshine into electricity.

Carefully designed and developed, solar farms provide a great example of how biodiversity, agriculture and renewable energy can flourish side-by-side.

In early 2014, we commissioned our first solar farm in Dorset and have since built a further six in Dorset, Cornwall and Wiltshire.
