Renewable energy firm wins big at the Chippenham Business Awards
Wiltshire based green energy supplier Good Energy has been named Environmental Business of the Year at this year’s Chippenham Business Awards.
Good Energy won the award for demonstrating outstanding commitment to reducing the environmental impact of its business activities and expanding its renewable offering.
Simon Philpott, newly appointed Chippenham BID Manager, said:
“I was proud to witness the vibrant, dynamic, successful business community that is Chippenham. We have been too modest about this for too long and now is the time to crow about Chippenham as a great place to live, to shop and, as was evidenced on Thursday, to do business.”
Francoise Woodward, Director of People and Culture at Good Energy said:
“We’re delighted to have won this award. As a company, Good Energy believes in ‘doing the right thing’ – our environment, our customers and our people are at the heart of everything we do.
Chippenham is a great place to be based and these awards are a fantastic celebration of the successful businesses and local talent we have in the area.”
Good Energy was also nominated for the Customer Service Award and Chippenham Business of the Year and sponsored the Young Entrepreneur Award which was won by Atlas Gyms 24/7 owner, Jordan Gill.
