Important information

This is a fixed-price time-of-use tariff that depends on receiving half-hourly smart meter readings. Before you can be switched to it, you must have a smart meter capable of communicating with us. If you do not, we can arrange to have one fitted free of charge. You can request a smart meter here

Already have a smart meter?

If you’re new to Good Energy and already have a smart meter, it will take about 2 working days to switch your energy supply. You will receive a welcome pack from us after your switch has been processed, confirming that you have been placed onto the Good Energy Standard variable tariff. 

Once you’re on supply with us and we’re receiving half-hourly meter readings, you’ll be moved to the smart tariff you requested. 

If there are any problems with your meter, we’ll try to resolve these as quickly as possible. 

You can withdraw your permission for half hourly readings at any time, but you will become ineligible for the tariff and termination fees may apply.
