The inverter then converts the power generated from DC to AC power so it can be used on-site or exported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Benefits<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"is--inner-block\"><strong>Cost: <\/strong>If budget is the primary concern for your business, a string inverter solar panel system is one of the cheapest options.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"is--inner-block\"><strong>Choice: <\/strong>string solar inverters have been on the market for longer, so there are a large number of installers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"is--inner-block\"><strong>Simplicity:<\/strong> as there\u2019s only one inverter, string inverters are quicker to install and maintain.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Drawbacks<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"is--inner-block\"><strong>Lower efficiency and lower output: <\/strong>panels in a string system operate at the efficiency of the lowest performing panel.
