Through our partnership with Granular&nbsp;Energy,&nbsp;we\u2019re&nbsp;providing businesses with groundbreaking transparency about how their&nbsp;energy is generated \u2013 24\/7, 365 days a year. This is hourly energy matching, and&nbsp;it is&nbsp;the&nbsp;future of renewable energy supply.&nbsp;\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Renewable electricity sources are weather and climate dependent.&nbsp;So&nbsp;to build a truly&nbsp;zero-carbon energy grid that\u2019s free from fossil fuels, we&nbsp;have to&nbsp;get better at using (or&nbsp;storing) renewable electricity as&nbsp;it\u2019s&nbsp;generated.\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The current process for certifying renewable electricity&nbsp;doesn\u2019t&nbsp;support this level of&nbsp;transparency. Renewable Energy Guarantee of Origin certificates (REGOs) are used to&nbsp;prove renewable energy sourcing on an annual basis \u2013 a system full of loopholes that&nbsp;enables greenwashing.&nbsp;\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">REGOs&nbsp;don\u2019t&nbsp;show whether a supplier puts in the work of sourcing renewable electricity&nbsp;to match customer demand throughout the day.
