Go renewable for improved emissions reporting
A carbon footprint measures the total greenhouse gas emissions caused directly or indirectly by a person, organisation, event or product.
As a Good Energy business customer, you can be certain that the carbon footprint of your electricity supply is zero.
Good Energy's 100% renewable electricity brand promise is independently assured by SGS, which means you can report zero carbon emissions under the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Scope 2 emissions reporting guidance set out by the World Resources Institute.
All our electricity is backed by Renewable Energy Guarantee of Origin certificates (REGOs), which is recognised under the European Renewable Energy Directive.
Good Energy provides all its customers with display certification to demonstrate their commitment and supply chain. We have only ever supplied our customers with 100% renewable electricity.
Our fuel mix
At Good Energy, we source all our renewable electricity from solar power, wind power, hydroelectric power and biofuels.
We always have done and we always will. No other UK energy supplier can promise that.
Read on to find out more about each renewable element of our fuel mix.
