About the role
As a Test Manager, you will be part of our Transformation Team which is responsible for delivering and supporting IT solutions across the entire business. We have a variety of exciting projects coming our way including the roll out of our smart metering programme, the launch of a new website, launch of a new mobile app and the introduction of business intelligence tools. Key duties and accountabilities will include:
- To manage and plan test strategies and scenarios, including leading a team of system test analysts
- To conduct test analysis and system acceptance testing which includes preparing and maintaining test plans and scripts
- Implement and manage test automation
- Liaise with the business to oversee user acceptance testing
- Ownership and responsibility for the testing of our customer information system and other critical business systems
- Integration and rollout of the testing for upcoming projects
- Overseeing workload of Testing colleagues
- Supporting the project and development teams in other activities
With demonstrable experience of leading a team, you will have a background in user acceptance testing, system integration testing and experience of using testing software, such as Test Rail. You’ll be required to communicate and work with a variety of people and to take projects through from initial inception to final deployment. Experience with applications in a Microsoft environment including Microsoft BizTalk would be beneficial.
