About the function and role
The Business Services function is responsible for the growth of Industrial and Commercial (I&C) and Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SME) business customers through development and delivery of products and services. This team is responsible for growing and delivering sales to all Half Hourly metered (HH) import supply and large portfolio customers across the business.
As a Senior I&C Sales Executive, you will be part of the I&C Sales team responsible for delivering Good Energy’s sales strategy to I&C customers. The team is specifically responsible for HH and portfolio contract sales and renewals. You will be responsible for responding to incoming leads and also identifying, qualifying and closing proactive outbound sales. This is a customer facing role but also requires management of internal resources to ensure targets are met.
The role has a bonus scheme weighted to personal and team performance with uncapped commission.
To be successful in the role you’ll have experience in a dynamic business sales function with evidence of building face-to-face client relationships to maximise commercial value. You’ll be passionate about achieving individual sales targets and possess demonstrable experience of proactively developing sales opportunities over a period of time.
You’ll take pride in being authentic and follow through on commitments, ensuring you build trust and gain credibility throughout the process.
You’ll be able to cope under pressure, maintaining high quality and a standard that will achieve high conversation rates. In addition, you’ll possess negotiation and influencing skills that will enable you to deliver commercially astute sales results.
