Sales Executive X 2 - Customer Retention
Salary: £19,000 + excellent commission scheme
Hours - 37.5 hours Monday – Friday & Saturday on a rota basis with one day off per week. Operational hours: Monday – Friday, 11:30 – 20:00. Saturday 09:00 – 17:00

The business has recently reviewed its longer term strategy and is now poised to take a leap forwards, focused on a transformational growth agenda which delivers long term value for its customers, shareholders and people. This will enable the achievement of its purpose; powering the choice for customers, of a cleaner greener future. The Good Energy team is currently around 300 people strong and is based in the market town of Chippenham, Wiltshire.
About the function and role
The Domestic Sales team is at the forefront of delivering new customer acquisitions and retention of our business. It is key in ensuring our customer interactions reflect our unique purpose and values.
As a Customer Retention Sales Executive, you will report into the Domestic Sales Performance Leader, and be part of the Retention and New Acquisition Inbound Sales Team, part of the Business Services Department. The team is responsible for driving Good Energy’s growth through the retention of customers using direct contact methods (phone and email and others methods as applicable).
The team is specifically responsible for outbound retention of customers to ultimately retain them as customers of Good Energy. From time to time the team will be responsible for the on boarding of customers wanting to receive their electricity and gas supply from Good Energy; receiving incoming enquiries and emails through the sales line and enquiries inbox and following up web forms generated by the website to establish opportunities to achieve sales and business growth.
We are looking for a strong customer retention Sales Executive who is motivated to deliver business performance metrics and achieve high retention targets and support growth plans.
A commercially focused individual with excellent people and communication skills, you’ll be a strong sales executive who is motivated to deliver business performance metrics and achieve high sales and growth targets.
You’ll possess demonstrable experience of selling to high quality standards and achieving high conversion rates, with the ability to cope under pressure in a busy sales environment.
With an excellent telephone manner you’ll be organised and able to manage your own workload, with a high track record working towards targets.
