Performance Leader - Domestic Sales

Salary: Competitive + excellent benefits

Hours - 37.5 hours Monday – Friday & Saturday on a rota basis with one day off per week. Operational hours: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 20:00, Saturday 09:00 – 17:00. Shifts will be one week day shift, one week late shift on a rotational basis, working 2 -3 Saturdays per month

The Good Energy team is currently around 300 people strong and is based in the market town of Chippenham, Wiltshire.

About the function and role

The Domestic Sales team is at the forefront of delivering new customer acquisitions and retention of our business. It is key in ensuring our customer interactions reflect our unique purpose and values.

We are looking for 2 strong leaders to support a team of sales executives delivering team and business performance metrics. A commercially focused individual with excellent people skills who can motivate and communicate at all levels of the business.

As Team Performance Leader, you will work in close partnership with teams across the business to drive continuous business improvement. Delivering on our customer promises you will achieve team and organisational targets. This role will provide management support to our Senior Sales and Sales Executives and Sales Operations Manager.

About you

This is a newly created role that will be responsible for the team and business performance within the Domestic Sales team. You will be a team player with the ability to motivate and support your team of Sales Executives and colleagues in driving the team to achieve ambitious performance levels.

You will have demonstrable experience of leading teams, preferably within a contact centre Sales environment. With a flexible and adaptable approach, you will have the ability to effectively communicate to influence others to achieve business, customer and team objectives.

During a time of change and preparation for growth this position requires an experienced, strong and inspirational leader with experience of liaising with stakeholders on long term strategies for managing and improving the service.
