Part-time Sales & Retention Executive (6 month FTC)

18.75 hours Mon-Thurs & Saturday

£21,200 pro rata

The company was founded in 1999, is listed on AIM and now employs over 300 people in the historic market town of Chippenham, Wiltshire.

Our Domestic Sales Team have a rare opportunity for a Part Time Sales and Retention Executive to join the team and help drive our growth by maximising sales and reducing customer attrition.

Key responsibilities

As a Sales and Retention Executive, you will report into the Domestic Sales Manager, and be part of the Sales & Retention Team within the Sales and Marketing function.

You will be responsible for inbound and outbound sales calls to our domestic and business customers, following up all marketing leads and inbound calls to generate sales and retention rates. You will also deal with inbound e mail enquiries for domestic and small businesses leveraging our fantastic products and utilising your sales skills to convert to Good Energy customers.

This is a sales role like no other, working as part of a small and friendly team of 8 people. No impossible targets, no weekend or evening working and we consistently achieve high conversion rates.  We use a team rota to swap the work around ensuring variety and a challenge.

About You

You’ll have an outgoing and engaging personality and really enjoy talking to potential customers on the phone with a passion for sales and strong desire to exceed targets.  You’ll provide an exceptional customer service and have a zest for identifying new business opportunities. A strong team player with the ability to manage your own workload and handle a large number of quality leads. Working collaboratively as part of a small team you will also be required to attend sales events and other activities as required. Just like us and our customers you will have an interest and understanding of environmental issues.
