About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join our Legal Affairs Team. In this role you will assist with the provision of day-to-day legal support and advice across Good Energy’s businesses and supporting the legal team to ensure close engagement with key business stakeholders, the alignment of objectives and priorities and to demonstrate a clear focus on delivering value whilst managing risk.
Working collaboratively with other key functions (e.g. compliance, regulatory, company secretarial) and experts in the wider business to deliver high quality, high impact, practical and pragmatic support to enable the business to meet its objectives.
- To help the legal team to provide support for a wide range of corporate, commercial and regulatory legal matters arising across Good Energy’s businesses.
- To help the legal team to ensure operational, legal and regulatory risks are managed and escalated as appropriate.
- To ensure information systems are operated to the required standard to maintain accurate and secure records.
You will be an experienced Paralegal ideally with experience of working in-house and with the relevant legal qualifications. A good communicator with the ability to build strong and trusted advisor relationships. Experience of working in a highly regulated business is desirable but not essential. You will offer pragmatic advice and will deliver solutions to complex legal challenges. You’ll be part of a small but creative thinking, dynamic and very friendly team in a fast paced office.
