About the role
In this role you will provide secretarial and administrative support to the General Counsel & Company Secretary to manage diary commitments efficiently to support achievement of stated strategic objectives, assist the General Counsel & Company Secretary with the day-to-day running of the Legal Affairs Department and support with arrangements for proceedings of the Board and Committees of Good Energy Group plc.
This role will be an all-encompassing PA role including managing emails, post and calls as well as maintaining an efficient filling system as well as extensive diary management and travel.
Supporting the General Counsel and Company Secretary, you’ll arrange internal and external meetings, support with the preparation of documents and presentations for Board/Committee meetings and take minutes where required. You will also be confident to collate and compile effective management information to support the team as well as managing expenses, purchase orders and invoicing.
In addition this role will also support the Board and its committees through making arrangements for the AGM and other shareholder meetings including diary management, accommodation and travel as necessary. You will also support the wider legal team with other administrative duties.
With proven experience as a PA supporting at director level, you’ll have excellent organisation and time management skills and will be used to managing a varied and demanding workload. You’ll have experience of organising external events and providing support to senior colleagues at events and meetings. A strong communicator, you’ll be able to demonstrate working collaboratively and the relationships you have built with key stakeholders both internally and externally. With strong IT skills, you’ll be confident across the Microsoft Office suite. PA experience within a Secretariat or Legal function would be a distinct advantage.
You don’t have to have a background in renewable energy but you must be motivated by working for a purpose and values led organisation, and have the capability to learn about a complex industry, fast.
