About the role
As MI and Insight Analyst, you will be part of the solutions team, within the Transformation function, reporting to the Solutions Architect.
Working as MI and Insight Analyst you will be responsible for providing analytical and reporting services to the business including corporate key performance indicators, strategic operations analysis, identifying performance trends and interpreting data.
This role will involve working collaboratively with a variety of subject matter experts across the business. Key duties and responsibilities of the role will include;
- Support the Solutions Architect by developing reporting processes and producing regular and ad-hoc management information reports.
- Support the development and delivery of a suite of corporate key performance. indicators to be regularly reported to the Board, Executive and wider business.
- Carrying out transition of reporting from current processes to future state solutions.
- Gathering reporting requirements from operational managers and/or business users, working with wider Transformation team to deliver the data needed to meet the requirements.
- Using appropriate statistical modelling techniques to provide high quality and thorough analysis of data and related processes to ensure business needs are continually anticipated and met.
- Maintain and develop business intelligence processes and assist in the creation of new processes.
Commercially astute and capable of identifying significant business issues and drivers, you will be able to apply appropriate analysis techniques and interpreting the results produced.
With experience of managing analysis projects you will possess demonstrable experience of data mining, collation and dashboard creation. Additionally, you will have advanced Excel skills, SQL and experience of querying databases.
