About the function and role

Reporting into the Customer Services Director, this is a newly created role providing expert knowledge within Metering Services, whilst working in close partnership with colleagues across the Customer Services department and the rest of the business. It will support delivery on our customer promises and achieving team and business targets.

You’ll be accountable for the timely sharing of information with the industry and ensuring all industry information provided to us is used appropriately and in a timely manner. Identifying knowledge and performance issues within the teams, you’ll use dynamic and engaging coaching to support and drive performance. You’ll support delivery of our settlements performance ensuring that Good Energy is above industry average at all times. You will be accountable for the accuracy of the data we use and ensure this is considered from both our customers’ perspective and that of the industry.

You’ll also be accountable for the effective performance of the 3rd parties we use to support these processes. This includes a managed service for data processing, MOPs, MAMs and DC/DA. 

You will be accountable for the result of the annual industry audit of the processes in this area. You will ensure both the in-house and managed services operations comply with our processes and ensure when processes are changed the supporting documentation is update accordingly. 

We require a strong leader to support and develop our teams to deliver to their full potential and exceed our customers’ expectations. Working to improve service, knowledge and confidence within the teams you’ll be a role model and business expert for your teams to look up to.

About you

With demonstrable experience of building strong relationships across teams, you’ll be an engaging and motivational leader with success of managing, coaching and inspired an operational team within the Energy industry.

You’ll be positive, confident, personable and have experience of industry data management and settlements. Previous process improvement, mapping and documenting experience is desirable for this role.
