About the role

As Metering Advisor (FiT), you will be an integral part of the Levelisation & Compliance Team, responsible for ensuring compliance with Meter Inspections for over 76,000 generators.

You will be part of a highly focused team, responsible for helping to manage the Meter Inspection process, with tasks ranging from read collection and validation to compliance administration. Expect to manipulate large volumes of data and work to tight deadlines. Key duties and accountabilities of the role will include;

  • Support Team Leaders to achieve targets by continually improving productivity, achieving KPI’s and resolving queries and issues
  • Develop a high level of knowledge about our products and services and the energy industry
  • Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance internally and also with external parties
  • Submitting and maintaining data on Ofgem’s Central FiT Register and internal databases
  • Providing responses to queries from customers in a clear and logical manner, by phone and email
  • Manage and resolve complex technical queries and data exceptions
  • Collecting, processing and validating generator meter reads
  • Creating, maintaining and sending customer correspondence

About you

To succeed in the role you will have proven experience of delivering excellent customer service in a fast paced, complex environment. You will have good time management skills and will be able to proactively manage your own workload, whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy. With a positive approach to achieving results, you will possess an excellent telephone manner and be effective at non-telephony communications.

Additionally, you will have excellent analytical and problem solving skills and confident in the use of Excel to an advanced level.
