The business has recently reviewed its longer term strategy and is now poised to take a leap forwards, focused on a transformational growth agenda which delivers long term value for its customers, shareholders and people. This will enable the achievement of its purpose; powering the choice for customers, of a cleaner greener future. Good Energy now employs around 300 people in the historic market town of Chippenham, Wiltshire.
About the role
You’ll be working as part of our marketing function which is responsible for delivering growth in customer numbers for Good Energy across all channels. To help achieve this we want to build great online and offline experiences that connect and engage with our current and future audiences.
We are looking for passionate marketeers to join the team and help us drive towards our vision of becoming an expert integrator of green energy services in homes and businesses. The role will encompass a wide and exciting variety of responsibilities in supporting the profitable acquisition of domestic and business customers to Good Energy, including supporting marketing campaigns, content creation and developing promotional documents in line with our brand.
In this role you will collaborate and build strong relationships across the business to build awareness of marketing campaigns from inception through to delivery. You will also manage relationships with agencies and partners to ensure that we successfully work together to deliver our objectives in line with expectations.
We’re looking for talented Marketing Executives with a flair for storytelling, great copy writing skills with the ability to adapt your style to our different customer segments. You will leave no stone unturned in your pursuit of market engagement to drive and support sales.
With a proven track record of delivering successful marketing campaigns, you will be able to demonstrate success across SEO, PPC and social as well as email marketing creation and delivery. You’ll be experienced and confident in managing creative, media and digital agencies to support the delivery of these campaigns.
In this role you’ll run customer campaigns from idea to execution and have a good head for figures - it’s important that you have experience in evaluating and reporting your campaigns against KPIs.
Experience of working in a fast paced regulated industry would be an advantage as would experience of using Google Analytics or similar for reporting and insight.
Experience in energy would be an advantage but not a necessity. What’s really important though is that you must be motivated by working for a purpose and values led organisation, and have the capability to learn about a complex industry, fast.
Works in a way which role models our values:
We are straightforward in how we communicate with each other and get things done.
We are determined and resilient, overcoming challenges to realise our purpose together.
We value people’s differences and recognise the strength they give us when we work together.
In fulfilling our purpose, we aim to balance fairly the needs of our people with those of our customers, our shareholders and our futureholders.
In addition to a competitive salary we also offer a wide range of benefits. Our office in Chippenham is very accessible; just a short drive off the M4 and a two minute walk from the train station.
If you’d like to be part of an innovative and fast growing ethical energy business, we’d love to hear from you.
