The Good Energy team is currently around 300 people strong and is based in the market town of Chippenham, Wiltshire.

About the function and role

As IT Governance, Risk and Compliance Analyst, you’ll be part of the Infrastructure & Service Desk team within IT & Digital.

This role will support the IT Infrastructure and Service Desk Manager in delivering information assurance solutions, and supporting security and audit across IT projects and initiatives.

You’ll also own and continually improve new and existing IT service delivery contracts with third parties and vendors, as well as supporting the Service Desk Manager in coordinating and deploying infrastructure and service desk resource efficiently.

About you

You’ll have excellent communication / interpersonal skills and be pro-active in upskilling key stakeholders where needed. You’ll be able to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, to gain relevant information and create and maintain accurate documentation, and gain feedback to make improvements as needed.

We are seeking a proven governance analyst who is flexible, a self-starter working to tight deadlines. You’ll need to interpret, gaining input from various sources to ensure that IT infrastructure, the service desk and elements of the wider IT department are compliant on audit, documentation and security.

You’ll have meticulous attention to detail with the ability to maintain documentation to reflect this. The role requires exceptional negotiation, interpersonal and influencing skills when working with suppliers on existing contracts and preparing the ground for new ones.

Previous experience of ISO27001 and ISO27005 is essential for this role.
