About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Investor Relations Manager to join our Finance Team, reporting to our Head of Corporate Finance and Investor Relations. You will be responsible for helping, shaping and delivering Good Energy’s investor relations plan and investment case as well as being the main point of contact for our investors.
Working collaboratively with other key stakeholders, you will manage the flow of information from the business to the market as well as dealing with day to day queries and questions from shareholders, bondholders, analysts and other market participants.
- Developing and maintaining the investor relations plan and providing insight to key stakeholders
- Perform competitive analysis including financial metrics and differentiation
- Preparing results and investor presentations, roadshows scheduling, interim and annual reports as well as trading updates and other press releases.
- Leading and / or supporting the CFO on analyst calls on results, forecasts and setting expectations
- Monitoring and maintaining the Good Energy investor website
- Providing support on various Corporate Finance activities as required
With previous experience in an investor relations role as well as an understanding of Corporate Finance, you will be able to demonstrate clear achievements and deliverables and will be looking to develop your career in Investor Relations. Degree qualified or with a similar relevant professional qualification (Recognised accountancy qualification or CIR, ICIR), you will possess a commercial mind-set with sound judgement.
You will have the ability to manage detail without losing sight of the bigger picture and able to offer pragmatic solutions that deliver results. With a collaborative approach, you will have demonstrable experience of building trusted relationships quickly with the ability to communicate clearly and simplify complex financial information to different types of shareholders from sophisticated institutions to retail / customer investors.
A background in the UK energy sector is desirable but not essential, however you must be motivated by working for a purpose and values led organisation, with the capability to learn about a complex industry, fast.
