The business has recently reviewed its longer term strategy and is now poised to take a leap forwards, focused on a transformational growth agenda which delivers long term value for its customers, shareholders and people. This will enable the achievement of its purpose; powering the choice for customers, of a cleaner greener future. Good Energy now employs around 300 people in the historic market town of Chippenham, Wiltshire.


About the role
We are looking for a passionate marketer to join our Marketing Team to ensure that all or our customers, both Domestic and Business, understand the Good Energy purpose. As such, you will develop and implement communications along the various customer journeys ensuring these are simple and easy to understand and convey our purpose in order to drive increased understanding of and loyalty to the brand and customer engagement.
They will be responsible for ensuring we deliver a consistent tone of voice across all communication channels, and develop communications that focus on customer retention.
In this role you will also update customers on progress against our purpose through a series of newsletters and will monitor the value and impact of these, providing tangible data to show this. You will support in the delivery of a retention and loyalty improvement programme with the aim of reducing churn.


About you
We’re looking for a talented Marketing Executive with experience in managing consistent brand communications across many touchpoints. You will be able to evidence having created engaging communications that provide value and return on retention as well as supporting customer retention strategies.
You will be a confident and engaging communicator with stakeholders and all levels and will be able to demonstrate where you have influenced across the wider business.
You’ll have strong copywriting skills and will have experience in applying a consistent brand tone of voice.

Experience of working in a fast paced regulated industry would be a distinct advantage.
Experience of the energy industry would be an advantage but not a necessity. What’s really important though is that you must be motivated by working for a purpose and values led organisation, and have the capability to learn about a complex industry, fast.
