About the role

As Contract Support Manager, you will be part of the Customer Services Function. This department is responsible for delivering excellent customer service throughout the customer journey.

Great customer service in Good Energy is supported by a number of 3rd party relationships that are required to run an energy company effectively and compliantly. The Contract Support Manager is responsible and accountable for ensuring Good Energy’s third party contracts are designed to fit our purpose, deliver great service for our customers and are cost effective for our shareholders.

You’ll be required to understand and articulate any issues or concerns with each contract and ensure these are renegotiated throughout the lifecycle of the contract.

You’ll be responsible for reporting the performance of all 3rd party contracts and where any under performance is identified, work with them to develop improvement plans and track all actions to completion. Where performance is not improved, it may be necessary to invoke any penalties or breach clauses as appropriate.

About you

You’ll be an experienced contract manager who puts positive customer experience at the heart of everything. You’ll be the person who ensures that our third party suppliers act as an extension of Good Energy when representing us. You’ll also champion the suppliers internally, ensuring that the Customer Services function embraces and values their services.

In addition, you’ll be a good team player, who is passionate about sharing and collaborating with others. You’ll possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal with a strong ability to problem solve.

Previous management experience within a professional organisation, preferably in the energy industry is a desirable criteria for this role.
