The Good Energy team is currently around 300 people strong and is based in the market town of Chippenham, Wiltshire.
About the role
With a focus on commercials for the Commercial and Pricing Team, this role will be supporting the Pricing and Commercial Manager to analyse commercial tariff profitability including reporting findings, highlighting opportunities and developing recommendations.
You will develop internal profitability analysis models, to aid efficient finance reporting. This will involve liaising with Pricing, Sales and Finance, with reporting across the business.
This role will have a strong focus on leading the analytical aspects of internal projects, from completing key analytical work in project development, to assisting the business to turn projects into ‘off the shelf’ products.
You will be an enthusiastic analyst with some experience of the energy industry with relevant work experience or a related degree. A keen eye for detail is essential alongside a talent for problem solving and analysis. A confident communicator, you’ll be used to working with and managing stakeholder expectations. It would also be a distinct advantage if you have experience of VBA and SQL. Knowledge of Feed in Tariff is also desirable.
You don’t have to have a background in renewable energy but you must be motivated by working for a purpose and values led organisation, and have the capability to learn about a complex industry, fast.
