About the function and role

The Business Services function is responsible for the growth of business customers through development and delivery of services. The function develops commercial customer propositions in response to customer feedback and understanding of Good Energy’s business customers. It is responsible for providing account management and excellent customer service to grow and retain existing customers, and for procuring and managing power purchase agreements (PPAs) with commercial generators in support of Good Energy’s commitment to 100% renewable energy. 

You will take end to end responsibility for resolving queries and issues on customer accounts, liaising with internal teams to resolve queries whilst keeping the customer updated. Ensure all account activity is carried out effectively (e.g. registrations/switches, meter reading processing, meter verifications, meter/contact detail changes, sending reports) through the role holder or applicable internal stakeholders.

A key part of this role will be to ensure compliance with the FiT scheme for administration accuracy and on-time delivery. Whilst carrying out your duties, you will be an advocate for the Good Energy culture and role modelling of the mindset and behaviours which align with it.

About you

With a background of working in a business to business account management or client support function, you will possess demonstrable experience of building long standing customer relationships whilst maximising commercial value.

You will have strong influencing skills and be able to resolve issues by collaborating with internal colleagues and liaising with external organisations. With experience of maintaining accurate customer records, you will have the ability to adapt and learn in an environment with fast changing business, client and regulatory needs.
