“We were a bit worried about replacing our heating system in the middle of winter. Thankfully, Good Energy were very considerate about how they scheduled the work so that we were not without heating or hot water for any length of time. I couldn’t speak highly enough about the installation team.”

“Our main motivation for getting an air source heat pump was how efficient they can be. Good Energy remotely monitors the performance of our heat pump – and it is consistently well over 300% efficient. That’s around four times more efficient than our old oil boiler.”

* Heat pumps work at their most efficient when they maintain a constant temperature in your home throughout the day, and one or two degrees cooler overnight. We use the following temperatures as a benchmark when designing your heating system: living room 21°C; bedroom 18°C; kitchen 20°C; dining room: 20°C; bathroom: 22°C. We can design systems to temperatures above these standards if a customer requests, but we cannot design below them. This is in line with the CIBSE (Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers) required temperatures and British Standard BS12831.

** The Boiler Upgrade Scheme is a government grant of £7,500 towards the cost of a heat pump. Eligibility criteria applies. To find out more about the grant and if you are eligible please visitgov.uk/apply-boiler-upgrade-scheme.

*** Even when temperatures drop well below zero, our air source heat pumps keep working efficiently. They’re designed to extract heat from the air in conditions as low as -15 °C, thanks to advanced refrigerant technology that can capture warmth even in frosty weather.
