Where does your energy supplier get their electricity from?

Calculating our fuel mix is a pretty easy job for the team at Good Energy – it only involves one number: 100.

All of our electricity comes from wind, sun, water and biomass and is 100% renewable. We buy from over 500 independent renewable generators across the UK, and this number is increasing all the time.

Take a look at the lollipops above - they show where different electricity suppliers get their energy from. You might find that your supplier’s using a lot less renewable electricity than you’d thought - even on their so-called green tariffs.

Because we’re 100% committed to green energy, we don’t support nuclear or fossil fuel generation; for us that’s a calculation that just doesn’t add up. And 25,000 customers agree with us.
