One Brighton, one choice – 100% renewable electricity
RSS Feed
Good Energy has teamed up with sustainable community development company Bioregional Quintain in the construction of what is set to be one of the most sustainable housing developments in the UK.
The apartments, which are being built as part of a complex in the cosmopolitan city of Brighton, will be built from recycled materials and contain all the latest innovations and best in class products and services for people to embark on a low carbon lifestyle. This includes rooftop allotments where you can grow your own organic food, car clubs for lift sharing, revolutionary energy efficient appliances, and special rainwater drainage systems to reduce usage, as well as 100% renewable electricity from us.
Pete Halsall, Managing Director of Bioregional Quintain, commented on the reason for the partnership with Good Energy on the One Brighton: “Household consumption of energy is both expensive to the environment and to the consumer, so it is a major priority at One Brighton that we provide our residents with power from sustainable sources. Good Energy is an innovative company that, in much the same way as One Brighton, is looking for practical solutions and new technologies aimed at addressing the growing energy problem.”
