Not only is our electricity 100% renewable, our main ‘Good Energy’ tariff is 100% guaranteed under the Green Energy Supply Certification Scheme too. Launched in 2010, the Green Energy Supply Certification Scheme ensures that renewable energy products deliver a measurable environmental difference and that their provenance is fully guaranteed.

Green certification is a really positive step forward, but it’s worth noting that a 100% green tariff does not necessarily means a 100% green company. Good Energy is the only supplier in the country to source every last electron of its electricity from renewables. All other suppliers still rely on energy generated from fossil fuels and nuclear power. So to ensure your choice of electricity supplier is the greenest it can be we’d advise you check their fuel mixes.
