Top scoring ethical company
We’ve topped of the Ethical Company Organisation’s table for renewable energy suppliers for eight years running now. Assessed on a range of categories, such as environment, pollution and the amount of energy generated from renewable sources, as well as animal welfare and human rights, we were the only company to score 100 out of 100.

Award-winning customer care
An important part of our ethical commitment is ensuring outstanding customer service. We know you don’t want to be passed from pillar to post. That’s why we make sure our Customer Care team can help with everything from Energy Saving Trust endorsed energy efficiency advice to generating your own electricity. This has helped us to come top in the Which? customer satisfaction survey for energy suppliers twice in the last three years.

Our 100% renewable guarantee
We have one of the most stringent environmental procurement policies in the industry. Not only is all our electricity sourced from renewables, our main ‘Good Energy’ tariff is fully guaranteed under the Green Energy Supply Certification Scheme too. This checks that renewable energy products deliver a real, measurable difference to the environment and guarantees that green energy comes from where we say it does: wind, water, sunshine and sustainable biogeneration.

Green certification is a really positive step forward, but it’s worth noting that a 100% green tariff does not necessarily means a 100% green company.
