Good Energy tops Which? customer satisfaction survey for electricity suppliers for second time
RSS FeedCHIPPENHAM, 11 January 2012 - Good Energy, the UK’s only 100% renewable electricity supplier, has been voted best electricity supplier in a customer satisfaction survey conducted by Which?, the independent consumer watchdog, for a second time.
Juliet Davenport, Good Energy’s CEO said: “We’re really pleased to be topping the Which? customer satisfaction survey for energy suppliers for a second time. Because we differentiate ourselves on the basis of where we buy our power, the relationship we have with our customers is vitally important. It is thanks to this renewable portfolio that we have been able to deliver stable energy prices over the past few years. We think our score is reflective of the combination of our customers feeling appreciated together with consistent pricing.”
Which? received responses from over 8000 energy users across the UK and ranked suppliers according to their customer satisfaction scores and likelihood of recommending their supplier to a friend. Good Energy topped the list of suppliers which included the ‘Big 6′ and a number of other smaller companies.
The survey results can be seen in the February issue of Which? Magazine, published today. Suppliers were rated across all aspects of their business from customer service to energy efficiency advice and billing. Good Energy scored the highest rating of 84%, a big improvement on its previous table-topping score of 79%.
Good Energy continues to hold its prices steady, having maintained an electricity price freeze throughout 2011 when all the major energy suppliers were raising theirs and currently on average costs around 3% less than the standard domestic electricity tariff from the Big Six.
