Our wind and solar farms

As well as supporting our growing community of independent suppliers, we’re creating new sources of renewable power for our customers and the country.

We’re proud of our wind farm in Delabole, Cornwall. It was the UK’s first commercial wind farm and we recently launched our pioneering local electricity tariff there too. But to support the UK in its target of 15% renewable energy generation by 2020 and achieve our vision of a future powered purely by renewables, we need more. That’s why we’re aiming to build 110MW of new capacity by 2016.

It will help to keep our prices stable too
Generating our own power, gives us more control over our costs and ensures you have less surprises on your bill.

We’ve created this section to keep you up to date with our latest projects.
