How to join

If you are ready to join Good Energy HomeGen, please contact us by emailing homegen@goodenergy.co.uk or call us on 0845 456 1640 to request Good Energy’s FiT sign-up pack.

When you receive the pack, complete the sign-up form and enclose all of the additional documentation that we request. Please be thorough - incomplete information may delay your FiT payments.

Please double check that you can meet our general requirements before return all the paperwork to us.

What happens next

Once we have received your completed sign-up form we will evaluate it to ensure you are eligible and have applied for the correct Good Energy generator scheme.

We will then send you a letter stating the price for each unit of electricity Ofgem has indicated your generator is entitled to. We will also enclose the terms and conditions that apply to your contract. If for any reason you choose not to or cannot accept the terms and conditions, you have seven days from receiving the welcome pack to write to us stating you have decided not to enter the contract.

Once the cooling off period has passed, we will register your generator with Ofgem and once the application has been processed successfully, we will send your welcome pack which confirms the date you joined, your initial meter reading and payment schedule.
