Solarcentury

With its highly respected regional installer network, Solarcentury has helped thousands of homes start generating with solar PV systems. Founded by Executive Chairman Jeremy Leggett in 1998, and led by CEO Derry Newman, ex-Managing Director of Sony UK, it's based in London, with 120 staff across the UK, France and Italy.

Since 2010, it has worked with ethical investor Triodos Bank, to help customers finance solar installations with the Feed-in Tariff. Solarcentury also founded the schools initiative Solar4Schools, helping over 260 schools learn with solar, and SolarAid, the charity helping rural African communities to replace kerosene with solar power.

Its accolades include UK’s Fastest Growing Private Energy Company (Sunday Times) and a Guardian 'Global Cleantech 100 company'.
