If you’re installing solar PV panels, the deadline for guaranteeing you qualify for the highest rate of the Feed-in Tariff is fast approaching. We want to ensure that the process is as hassle-free for you as possible so have laid out the route to registration in a simple step by step guide below.

If your generator is under 30kW
You need to register for the Feed-in Tariff: before midnight on the 11th of December.

If your generator is over 30kW
You need to give us your details by the 8th of December. We’ll then send you the forms you need to register for the Feed-in Tariff which must be returned to us before midnight on the 11th of December. 

You can return your form in one of the following ways.

• By post – it must be received in the 10th of December delivery to our offices – we strongly recommend using recorded delivery.
• By hand – We must receive your application before midnight on the 11th of December. To help as many people as possible qualify for the highest rate of FIT the Good Energy offices will be open at certain times over the weekend of the 10th and 11th of December – keep an eye on our website for more details.
• By email – it must be received before midnight on the 11th of December.

If your generator is over 50kW
To secure the highest rate of FIT you must register for the Feed-in Tariff via the ROO-FIT process by midnight on the 11th of December. You’ll receive a confirmation email from Ofgem. Please keep this safe as this is proof that you have applied before the deadline. And remember, if you haven’t already sent us the details of your generator please do so here so we can proceed with your registration.
