The Customer Care team welcomed lots of new faces in 2011 and now they’ve all settled in, the next step was ensuring their energy efficiency advice service cuts the Energy Saving Trust mustard. Like last year the team performed brilliantly, getting an average mark of 86% in the written assessment and 92% in the practical test. This is despite a few pretty serious nerves on test day – it’s been a while since university and school for some of the team!

I’m delighted with the results and it’s been a great way to consolidate our chart-topping performance in the Which? customer satisfaction survey for energy suppliers. Having our energy efficiency advice endorsed by the Energy Saving Trust is not only a solid industry stamp of approval for our service, it’s really important for our customers too. It’s a rare thing when a company actively encourages people to use less of their product, but we understand that our customers want to save money, reduce their carbon footprint and still remain cosy and comfortable in their homes!

It’s also vital to achieving a greener future. We all need to think more intelligently about how we use our energy and having a closer connection with it encourages us to value it more and use it less. It’s great to be at the front line of inspiring people to do this. It becomes even more apparent when people install their own renewable generation technology and know the electricity they’re using to boil the kettle for a cup of tea has come straight from their rooftop!

Why not give the team a call on 0845 456 1640 to find out if they can help you cut your bills, making them better for your pocket and the planet.
