What a weekend!
RSS FeedThere’s something of the Boxing Day vibe in the office today. After a frenetic few weeks in the run-up to the solar PV Feed-in Tariff deadline and a FIT filled weekend which we welcomed hundreds of new generators – both in person and online – today sees us munching the leftover mince pies, contemplating our bursting inboxes and reminiscing on a good time well spent with friends both new and old.
Graeme Rushin, our Head of Operations, was rallying the troops and making sure everything went smoothly. “We received a steady stream of phones calls emails and visits from both generators and installers so it was all hands on deck,” he says. “But it was great to have the chance to deal with so many people face to face – a rare opportunity in this industry!”
We’ve had some really positive feedback as well as a few tasty gifts. Thanks particularly to the generator who brought in nine – yes nine! – tins of chocolate for us all to enjoy.
“I pitched up to see you on Monday (from London) and was impressed by how quickly and thoroughly you dealt with my FIT form. A phone call a few days later established that it had been double-checked by a member of your team and all was well.
“Each time I’ve called, a real human being has answered the phone and been endlessly patient.
“Glad I found you!”

What a team, well done Good Energy and congrats on 10,000 generators. Wish I could have brought my FIT form in personally, rather than emailing it, and meet you all…maybe us long distance applicants could be sent a mince pie

I would very much like to thank the staff at Good Energy for their knowledge and help in respect of my telephone calls regarding the FIT.
“May I take this opportunity to compliment you all for working this weekend in order to accept applications up until the last minute since I also at one time thought I would have to drive 150 miles to Chippenham and hand over the documents in person. You did take the strain off me when this method was at one time the only way I could apply in time.
“Thanks once again for your superior service.”
