Last year, Good Energy was delighted to win Wiltshire Life’s award for Environmental Excellence in Business. If you are local to us, we thought you’d like to know that nominations are now open for this year’s Wiltshire Life Awards. Honouring individuals and groups who make outstanding contributions to county life, the event is a fantastic way to recognise some of the great things Wiltshire has to offer.

When Good Energy’s Kate Turner attended last year’s celebrations to receive Good Energy’s award, as a newcomer to the county she was delighted to discover all the fantastic things going on. “We heard about families who have been producing prize beef for 600 years at the same farm, and about village shops that are breathing new life into rural communities. Heroes from the armed forces, the milliner to future royals, and a local who ran 100 marathons in 100 days for charity - Wiltshire is a thriving county with many high achievers, and Good Energy is proud to be one of them.”

Two new categories have been introduced for this year – Wiltshire Visual Artist/s of the Year and Wiltshire Performing Artist/s of the year.
