A swathe of weird and wonderful clothing creations will wend its way through the streets of Painswick tomorrow. "Our quintessential chocolate box Cotswold village will be transformed" says Wearble Art Painswick Organiser Libby Graesser, "showcasing some wonderful modern art worn on bodies. We call it 'where art meets fashion'; it's certainly jaw dropping."

Independent designers, art colleges, primary and secondary schools are all competing to create the winning pieces, receiving their prizes from Turner prize winner Grayson Perry who is joined by other luminaries from the world of art and fashion, including Plum Sykes. The categories of Rococo, Deja Vu, Dream Machine and Bra-tastic are certainly both broad enough and bizarre enough to ensure a plethora of fantastic designs. And judging by photos from last year's event there's no limit to what people will walk down the streets of Painswick in!

Good Energy is sponsoring the Primary School prize so we're looking forward to seeing what local children can come up with. Below is last year's winner in the category. Called 'Sole Survivor' it's made entirely of socks.

Admission is free and there'll be dancing, music and stalls too so come along if you're in the area.
