Good Energy's Dragon Boat team revealed
RSS Feed
They’ve been training and strategising hard all week but until today the identity of all of this year’s Good Energy Dragon Boat team remained a mystery. Please say hello to...
Richard – He rowed last year and is a proper powerhouse with a paddle. Pretty nifty as a pirate too.
Becky – Buys the Good Energy 'leccy. The captain. Constantly supportive and the main source of mischief making plans.
Greg – Hails from Billing. Boundlessly enthusiastic with a never surrender attitude. Looks good in shorts.
Tory – Generation Girl. Small but determined. Watch this space.
Natalie – Rocking in from Customer Care. Smiley, bubbly Nat; paddles like a maniac – brilliant.
Adam – Also Customer Care. Seems a sensible lad; we'll probably put him next to Pillaging Rich (good story, ask Rich) as a calming influence.
Ed C – Practically a Greek God; we expect him to propel the boat single handed.
Kate – PR is her game. We’re relying on her to make sure our sabotages seem nothing more than ripples in the water.
Will – If he’s as mean with a paddle as he is with a spreadsheet he’ll be running the show.
Barney RJ – The Big Kahuna. Loves messing around in boats. But normally the slightly bigger type.
Mark – From the Generation team. A clever guy – we reckon we’ve got a tactician here.
Ed G – Public Affairs. He’s been in a boat before. Most recently at Henley Regatta....This is a massive advantage as he probably knows how to float.
Harry – He’ll come for the T–shirt and stay for the beer.
Sam – She’s got her eye on the prize – top three or jog on.
Bo – Process Analyst. Excellent can do attitude – even with a poorly shoulder he’s getting in that boat!
And then there's Michelle - She'll be the mouthy one with the clipboard. Everyone knows you mean business when you've got a clipboard.
The Ringers:
Katie RJ – Kindly donated by Barney RJ.
Ben – An old member of the GE team, back to show the newbies how it’s done.
Alistair – Kindly donated by Tory. We know his T–shirt size so he’ll be fabulous.
Don't forget, they're raising money for Solar Aid - a fantastic charity. You can sponsor the team here.
